Distilling

Distilling isn’t required, but you’ll see it in a lot of recipes. Unlike in BreweryX, TBP uses a custom structure for distillation instead of a brewing stand.

Building a Distillery

To build a distillery, you will need 3 decorated pots and 3 bamboo fences.

Place them like in the video below:

This has happened to me way too many times

Don’t forget to sneak while placing blocks on decorated pots! If you don’t, you’ll end up putting items inside them instead.

If you build the distillery correctly, you should see a message in chat confirming it.

Using the Distillery

The two stacked pots are the inputs for the distillery, and the single pot is the output. Just like in the image below:

So, to distill a brew, simply right-click one of the input pots to open the “mixture” GUI, and place the brew you want to distill wherever you want. Then, right-click the single output pot to open the “distillate” GUI, the brews should start appearing there after a while. While the distillation is happening, you should see particles appearing above the output pot.

The number of times you should distill is also something you’ll need to figure out by yourself :)
