Requirements

• Java 21+
• PaperMC 1.21.2+ (or any compatible fork like Purpur), SpigotMC will not work

Folia

Folia is NOT supported by TheBrewingProject (yet).

There’s an effort to make it compatible. If you’re interested in helping, check TheBrewingProject#77

Performance Forks

Performance focused PaperMC forks like Canvas, Leaf, and LightingLuminol often cause compatibility issues with plugins.

Our team has already received reports of BreweryX breaking with them (see issue #138, issue #85).

While we can’t guarantee that TheBrewingProject will work perfectly with these forks, its compatibility should be better than BreweryX’s.

Installation

1. Download the plugin from one of the following sources:

   • Modrinth
   • Hangar
   • Jenkins (dev builds)

2. Add the plugin

   • Stop the Server
   • Put the JAR into the /plugins directory
   • Start the Server

3. Congratulations, TheBrewingProject is now installed!

Problems?

If you run into any issues during installation, please check your logs for errors. They often contain valuable information for troubleshooting.
